The platform was in the initial phase of building SEO presence, with minimal organic traffic and low visibility compared to competitors.

02

A weak authority profile left the site at a disadvantage, with Domain Rating stuck at 15 and only 201 referring domains.

Content gaps meant no optimized resources to capture informational or high-intent queries.

06

On-page and technical issues, like missing meta titles, poor heading structures, broken backlinks, and weak internal linking, limited crawlability and diluted link equity.

The Challenge

The fintech SaaS platform is a mobile-first invoicing and payments SaaS built for contractors and field service professionals. Originally launched as a mobile app, the company was transitioning to a full web-based SaaS model while keeping mobile usability central to the product. This shift required a stronger online presence to compete with established players and capture new customers.
But with low domain authority, shallow keyword coverage, and a site weighed down by technical issues, the company struggled to get in front of its target audience. Its strongest competitors were already capturing search demand with higher DR scores, programmatic landing pages, and extensive content libraries. This left the company nearly invisible in a market where search is a primary acquisition channel.
“Our site had broken links and content gaps that we didn’t fully realize were holding us back. It felt like we were fighting uphill just to get Google to notice us,” said a team member.
Without addressing these issues, the company risked rolling out a promising SaaS product to an audience that simply couldn’t find it.

The Solution

The plan centered on one goal: Making the platform more discoverable through steady, organic growth. The focus was on creating a system that could scale visibility and authority over time rather than short-term traffic gains.
Initial efforts strengthened the foundation by resolving crawl issues, reclaiming lost backlinks, and improving on-page structure to make the site easier to navigate and index. Once the technical base was stable, the focus moved to growth.
The next phase focused on expanding content coverage, refining keyword alignment, and strengthening authority through a healthier backlink profile and structured schema.
“Our focus wasn’t just on quick wins. We wanted to help the brand see measurable progress right away while creating a foundation that keeps compounding over time,” shared the Indexed team.

01

Conduct a comprehensive SEO audit
The process began with a full-scale audit covering technical setup, site structure, and content performance. The review surfaced several barriers that limited visibility, including missing titles, broken backlinks, and orphan pages. With these gaps identified, a clear roadmap was created to prioritize fixes with the highest impact on visibility.

02

Build a scalable content engine
After detailed keyword and competitor analysis revealed clear content gaps, a hub-and-spoke plan was developed. This framework helped strengthen topical authority and improve visibility for high-intent searches.
Core conversion pages such as the Invoice Generator were rebuilt with optimized metadata, stronger structures, and clearer calls to action. Around these, a publishing system was established to produce 55 new blog articles and 20 industry-focused landing pages targeting high-intent searches. Each piece was mapped into clusters, where pillar pages captured broad terms and supporting blogs funneled relevance back.

03

Optimize on-page elements
A structured internal linking framework connected blogs, landing pages, and conversion-focused assets. This helped distribute link equity more effectively and improved crawlability. Content was tailored for the platform’s mobile-first audience and optimized for LLMs to maximize clarity and visibility in search.

04

Strengthen technical and authority signals
Technical foundations were refined to make the company’s site easier for search engines to access and understand. Missing and duplicate H1s were corrected, sitemap and metadata issues were resolved, and 404 and orphan pages were fixed to restore clean crawl paths and consistent structure.
At the same time, authority gaps were addressed through link reclamation and targeted outreach. Redirecting 44 broken backlinks recovered lost equity, while new, high-quality links helped build the trust signals needed to compete with higher-authority SaaS brands.

05

Improve conversion paths
Conversion-focused optimization was applied across key pages to strengthen user flow from discovery to engagement. Navigation and internal linking were refined to connect informational content with core product pages. Traffic gains were directed toward clear conversion paths, turning new visibility into measurable engagement.

“Our biggest struggle was balancing technical clean-up with content growth. Indexed handled both seamlessly. The site’s structure, crawlability, and content strategy now work together. We can finally see consistent results in the Search Console.”

The Impact

When the fintech SaaS platform partnered with us, the target was clear: Achieve 20% growth in organic traffic within the first three months. Instead, the site cleared that benchmark several times over.

Organic clicks grew 1.8x, impressions rose 3x, and domain authority strengthened with higher-quality backlinks and more referring domains. Combined with a near-perfect health score, the platform moved from being barely visible in search to standing on a stronger footing as it transitioned into a SaaS leader.

01

Significant growth in organic clicks
Organic clicks rose from 2.41K to 6.14K over eight months, marking a 155% increase. The improvement reflected stronger keyword alignment, expanded landing page coverage, and better internal linking across high-intent topics.

Stronger visibility through impressions
Impressions multiplied by 5x in eight months, rising from 210K to 1.26M. Domain Rating doubled from 15 to 30, marking a clear shift in how search engines valued the site.
With stronger authority in place, keyword visibility accelerated. The platform now ranks for over 1,100 keywords and organic traffic has grown by 918% The site also holds 72 top-three rankings, reflecting a clear step-up in competitiveness across its target categories.

04

Solid technical foundation
A stronger technical base turned the company’s website into a stable, search-ready system. Search engines now crawl and index every key page without friction, and new content appears in results faster than before. The site maintains a 98/100 health score, passes all mobile usability checks, and delivers a smooth experience for contractors working from the field.
